A Twelve Step program is a crash course in how to prepare to meet God.
If you sincerely follow the twelve steps, you will not only recover from your compulsive and/or addictive behaviors, you will recover your former relationship with God—that pre-mortal relationship where we shared freely in the Spirit of our Heavenly Father.
The principles in the twelve steps will attune your heart to the Truth—and all Truth comes from God and leads to God.
When you sincerely follow the counsel of Luke—when you honestly and with pure intent seek, knock, and ask—be prepared to find Christ. Be prepared to meet Him immediately, because as He has testified, He stands at the door, even now, eager to open to you, to us all.
