The “Common Dilemma” of LDS People

0

And moreover, I say unto you, that there shall be no other name given nor any other way nor means whereby salvation can come unto the children of men, only in and through the name of Christ, the Lord Omnipotent. (Mosiah 3:17)

As members of the LDS church we are all caught in a common dilemma.

Of all the people on the face of the planet, we are the one’s whose salvation is most explicitly tied to Jesus Christ. We have covenanted with Jesus Christ. No one and nothing less than Him and His direct, personal leadership of our souls will give us the direction and the power to find salvation.

Nothing else can save us—not from our addictions, not from our mistakes, not from the mistakes of others, not from the increasing stress of living in these last days, not from anything.

Jesus Christ is the only Name, Way, or Means. Only in conscious contact with Him on a daily basis can we find genuine, lasting salvation.
